High Table Dinner
Held once every month, all students must attend
with Geen Gwn and Hall Tie, usually a guest would
be invited to give a speech after dinner.
Inter-Floor Game
As the name suggested, this is a competition between
A,B and C floor, the contents of competition are
varied among every year
U-Hall Cinema
Many high quality, exciting films will be on cast
periodically in the Common Room, this function improved
the relationship between Castlers and make U Hall
become a harmonious place.
Social Gathering
Held 2-3 times a year in the Dinning Hall, the organizer
would usually invite female members for other halls
of HKU to join the party, the purpose of social
gathering is to improve castler's ability in communication
with female.
Carolling
A joint halls function, usually with Lady Hotung
Hall and/or D.K. Hall, the Carolling Team would
sing carols in hospital (QMH), blind asylum,( Ebenezer
School) , old folks home and orphan's home to deliver
the love of God to them.
Reunion Day
Usually held at Mid-December every year, it give
the old boys a chance to share their experience
with the undergraduate.
Home Party
A party held at 31st Dec of every year to celebrate
the new year's coming.
Open Day
Held every 2-3 years, it is a carnival which welcome
the public to join.
Summer Ball
Held at every summer and it is a public function.
Social Service
Like caroling, our Caster would perform social services
to people in need for 2-3 days
Union Festivel
This is the big function held by the HKU Student
Union annually, including inter- halls drama, choir,
cheering and bridge competitions, all Castlers are
encouraged to participate in those competitions.
