On the occasion of the Hall's 50th Anniversary, the Alumni has established the University Hall Alumni Trust Fund, which supports U Hall student development. Testifying to the bondage of U Hall spirit among us over the years, the trust fund is a very worthy project. Already U Hallites and friends have donated over HK$1.3 million to the trust fund, which is being matched on a dollar-for-dollar basis by Dr. Stanley Ho’s donation pledge to HKU, but the Alumni hopes to see more donations so that the Trust Fund can operate more extensively.

Please support this very worthy project. To be forwarded to HKU, your donation to the trust fund will be tax deductible and matched on a dollar-for-dollar basis by Dr. Stanley Ho under his donation pledge to HKU and possibly also the UGC matching fund scheme.

Depending on the donation size, you could become a member of the HKU Foundation, with privileges to special events, ceremonies, exhibitions, magazines and project updates from HKU and special membership to HKU’s Senior Common Room.

For each donation of HK$500 or more, the Alumni will present you with a set of the University Hall 50th Anniversary commemorative book and DVD. If your donation is HK$20,000 or more, the Alumni will arrange to put up a plate with your name and period of residence outside one of the rooms in University Hall you stayed in.
